Comprehensive Assessments & Evaluation
At a glance
– Assessments are the first step in understanding a child’s needs and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
– These are conducted by licensed professionals in the UAE.
– The types of assessments include – Diagnostic assessments, Language & Behaviour assessments, Speech & language assessments, Occupational Therapy & Sensory need assessments.
The first step in understanding a child’s additional needs comes from a comprehensive assessment by licensed professionals.
While it is absolutely normal for children to face difficulties in school academically or socially, it may be useful to seek out an assessment if these challenges do not improve despite help or accommodations being provided.
An assessment helps both parents & schools to understand the challenges faced by your child and structure an individualized program that addresses the child’s developmental, learning, communication, social and emotional needs.
A thorough report is given at the end of the assessment with treatment recommendations.
